The Editorial Board wishes to inform readers and contributors that the publication of Volume 8, Issue 2 (2025), now posted in the website has been delayed due to unforeseen administrative and operational constraints.

While this issue is designated as part of the 2025 volume, it is being published now in 2026. All manuscripts included in this issue were processed according to the journal’s standard peer-review procedures, and the submission, acceptance, and publication dates displayed for each article accurately reflect the actual timeline of the editorial process.

We remain committed to maintaining transparency, editorial integrity, and adherence to best practices in scholarly publishing. We appreciate the continued support and understanding of our authors, reviewers, and readers.

The journal will resume its regular publication schedule from the subsequent volume.

Indian Journal of Mental Health and Neurosciences (IJMHNS) – ISSN- 2581-9445 (Online) published by the Indian Psychiatric Society -Tamil Nadu Chapter have changed their copyright and licencing policy from the existing policy of copyright transfer to publisher to copyright retained by the authors with a non-exclusive licence to publish granted to the publisher as explained below:

Copyright on open access articles published in Indian Journal of Mental Health and Neurosciences is retained by the author(s).

Authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher.

Authors also grant any third party the right to use the article freely as long as its integrity is maintained and its original authors, citation details and publisher are identified.

The Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 formalizes these and other terms and conditions of publishing articles which allows users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles or use them for any other lawful purpose without asking the publisher's or the authors' prior permission. The full details of the license are available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.en

Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
