Post publication discussions
Indian Journal of Mental Health and Neurosciences welcomes discussions from readers regarding published articles to uphold the integrity of the scholarly record through appropriate corrections, as per the guidelines of COPE https://publicationethics.org/guidance/flowchart/handling-post-publication-critiques
Readers may contact the Editor in Chief via email to provide such feedback, and if accepted, the discussions will be published in the next issue as a "Letter to the Editor." The respective Authors of the published article can respond to the reader's feedback by sending a reply to the Editor in Chief, which may be published as a "Reply to the Letter to the Editor" by the Editors.
Indian Journal of Mental Health and Neurosciences post-publication discussion process is designed to be fair and transparent. Discussions are published online after a thorough review and are usually accompanied by a response from the original authors, ensuring a balanced and comprehensive exchange of ideas.
Post-publication discussions can also start with reader critiques of articles published by the journal. Critiques should be reasonable and not contain libelous or defamatory content, and they should have evidence or data to support the claims.
